This summer we are offering TWO sessions of group swim lessons. You will sign up via the website OR HERE!

Below each level is an explanation of what each child must be able to do PRIOR to being in that level.
If you have questions please see Olivia at the pool!

Session 1:
June 17-21
12:00-12:30
Must be registered BY JUNE 14TH

Session 2:
July 8th-12th
12:00-12:30
Must be registered BY JULY 5th

Level 1: Water Exploration
*Must be able to hold onto the wall OR stand in water up to their chest

Level 2: Primary Skills
*Enter unassisted & move 5 yards, bob 5 times to chin level
*Move into a front and back float for 3 seconds with assistance

Level 3: Stroke Readiness
*Move into a front and back float for 5 seconds
*Push off and swim using a combination of arm and leg actions for 15 feet on the front and back

Level 4: Stroke Development
*Swim front crawl for 15 yards with face in the water and rhythmic breathing pattern (to front or side), tread water for 30 seconds and swim back crawl 15 yards.

Level 5: Stroke Refinement
*Swim front crawl for 25 yards, maintain position on back 1 minute in deep water (float or sculling) and swim elementary backstroke 15 yards.
*Swim breaststroke for 15 yards, tread water for 1 minute and swim back crawl for 25 yards.
